Neoprene/Chloroprene Rubber -CR

Neoprene, a kind of synthetic rubber obtained by the alpha-polymerization of chloroprene, which is essentially based on 2-chloro-1,3-butadiene as the major raw material.It features good physical and mechanical properties along with resistance toward oil, heat, flame, sunlight, and ozone adequately. It also resists acids and alkalis as well as chemical reagents. Has high tensile strength, elongation, and reversible crystallinity, good adhesion.  Aging and heat resistance.  Excellent in oil resistance and chemical corrosion.  Weather resistance and ozone aging resistance is ethylene propylene rubber and butyl rubber afterward.  Heat resistance is equivalent to NBR, with a decomposition temperature of 230-260℃; short-term resistance is 120-150℃, used for long periods at 80-100℃, where it also has some flame-retardant properties.  Excellent corrosion resistance to inorganic acids and alkalis.
